Hi there,
Today I am here to introduce the beginning of a practice, I am daring at currently calling it resource reflections and a core to explore. This blog is a place where I will start to bring my thoughts and attention to discuss, synthesise and flesh out ideas, insights and experiences based on my current set of resources inner and outer. I will be referring to other peoples work as inspirational content I have read, listened to or watched and bring my own original creations to the table too.

This exercise will offer you some potent and valuable information to deal with in which ever way you seem fit. An aim of mine in all this is to kickstart our thinking, sharpen our minds, while opening our hearts and leading us into greater states of aliveness and resourcefulness.
We will go through a bunch of topics with the intention of pulling out the most juicy bits as notes or as transformed pieces. These Resource Reflections are intended to maintain, play and grow a keen mind that is in harmony with the rest of the being. I do find a real sense of glow, zeal, creative freedom and purpose when I write so this is a truely fulfilling encounter.
Theres so much one could write about and I do enjoy the balancing of flowing and cultivating. The aim to express, discover and craft a style that works well for us to connect and of course stay true to my originality. I also write poetry so be on the look out for that too.
So Im not sure how long these are meant to be so let's just go with it, sometimes they will be lengthy accounts and other times freeform riffs and I've got faith that it will all be worthwhile.
So what will we will talk about here :
Focus
Mindfulness
Wellbeing
Creativity
Embodiment
Empowerment
Authenticity
Consistency
Visioning
Recovery
Wholeness
Tools
Values
These are some of my cornerstone words that encompass my values and priorities, in no particular order... :)
Within my work I aim to create a medium between creative expression as a visionary and meeting the worlds current climate. I will drop timeless wisdom from where ever it needs to come from whilst showing, telling and asking you stuff in what I trust to be engaging ways.
Ok so here's two short external resource reflections : 1: Tribes by Seth Godin (book) "Seth is an entrepreneur, best-selling author, and speaker"
This was a daring book that on leadership for todays world. I learnt a lot and liked hearing his knowledge, seeing his pioneering spirit in words and the regular calls to action.

and 2: this Joe Rogan interview with Naval Ravikant (Investor, Author, Entrepreneur)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qHkcs3kG44&ab_channel=PowerfulJRE this is a fascinating podcast. One of the first times I've really watched and listened all the way through a Joe Rogan podcast (purely because I didn't devote enough time). Really learnt a lot and got some marvellous gems and lesson interwoven in there. The interviewee Naval Ravikant. Really took on a deep 2 hour journey with this conversation, quite the adventure into science and technology, perspective and Naval's 3 main goals Happiness (Inner Peace as he puts it), Money Wealth and Health Fitness.
With consideration,
Brendon
